Bitumen membranes

1.1 Plastomeric APP membranes

These waterproofing membranes are produced from bitumen and modified with plastomeric, atactic-polypropylene (APP) polymers. The properties of that polymer are highly expressed into two main characteristics – high hot- and cold resistance. It increases resistance to ageing of the material and hence the life of the waterproofing system. APP bitumen membranes are suitable to be applied in areas with extremely hot temperatures as well as on large areas with vertical surfaces exposed to direct sunlight due to their constant heat resistance the time. The high resistance of these materials allows their application for waterproofing of vertical and inclined roofs without any risk of being compromised due to bitumen softening or flow. These membranes are widely used for the waterproofing of flat reinforced concrete roofs.

These types of membranes are:
VOALIT 0; VOALIT 5; POLYZOL 0; POLYZOL 5; POLYZOL 7; POLYZOL 10; POLYZOL BRIDGE

1.2 Elastomeric SBS membranes

They are produced from SBS /styrene – butadiene – styrene /modified bitumen. The properties of that polymer create a product with great elasticity and flexibility at low temperatures and good heat resistance. It increases resistance to ageing of the material and hence the life of the waterproofing system. These materials are very suitable to be applied in the winter in cold areas implying operation at extremely low temperatures. SBS /styrene – butadiene – styrene /modified bitumen membranes have good adhesion on pretreated by primer concrete surface and therefore they are used for waterproofing of vertical walls and foundations.

These types of membranes are:
POLYZOL 15; POLYZOL 20

1.3 Bitumen membranes with specific application

They are used for making a steam jacket, in performance of bridges and viaducts, roof-garden, underlayment for tiled roofs.

These types of membranes are:
POLYZOL BRIDGE; POLYZOL GARDEN; POLYZOL UNDERTILE; VOALIT PERFOR
