The roof drain is designed to be the vertical drain of rainwater on flat roofs, habitable terraces, roofs on several levels and roofs-gardens.
It is suitable for use with all kinds of APP and SBS modified bitumen membranes as well for roofs covered only with bitumen coating.
The roof drain is made from IGOM, a specially formulated compound of synthetic rubbers with high resistance to UV rays and other atmospheric and chemical agents. It is extremely flexible at low temperatures and can be used in a wide temperature range.
Roof Drain Grate
It is designed to stop leaves, gravel and other stuff in the roof drain system. It can be used with roof drains with diameters from 75 to 125 mm. It is made from an elastic, plastic material that is inserted into the drain pipe.
The Rain Drains with Side Discharge
The rain drains with side discharge are recommended, when the water receiver is located away from the vertical riser and must be connected by a horizontal pipe. When the roof drain is connected to the public sewage system a siphon is used to avoid the sewer odour. They are used on flat roofs, terraces, bathrooms, garages, laundry rooms etc., but not in areas where freezing is likely to occur.
They are used together with a polymer (ABS) protective grate and и extensible pipe on the siphon.
