Bitumen shingles are strip waterproofing material produced from APP modified bitumen with a glass vial base. One side is coated with polyethilene film (fine-grained sand), and the other side is coated with coloured mineral granules. The mineral granules give the colour and completion of the tiles. It is previously coloured with various pigments at high temperatures. This procedure gives the resistance of the colour, protects the bitumen layer from UV radiation and provides the durability of the shingles.
The bitumen shingles are manufactured in three types: Beavertail, Honeycomb and Rectangular in a wide range of colours. They are flexible, resistant and lightweight, suitable for application on domed roofs or inclined roofs with slopes from 12° to 90°. They are easy to be laid and suitable for all climate conditions.
